What types of cabling do we install?

CAT5e Cabling

As the industry standard for many years, CAT5e Cabling is a cost-effective solution that transmits up to 100Mb of data, up to a distance of 100 meters. Because it is antiquated, CAT5e cabling is typically installed when changes are needed to an existing data cabling network on a budget.

CAT6 Cabling

Now considered the industry standard for Data Cabling installations in an office environment. CAT6 cabling carries data speeds of up to a Gigabit, up to a distance of 100 metres, which is suitable for the higher bandwidths of a modern business.

Fibre Optic

The most efficient Network cabling solution, Fibre Optic Networks are the preferred solution for organisations that require ultra-high bandwidth.  Fibre Optic networks carry up to ten times the amount of Data over twenty times the distance when compared to CAT6 Cabling.  Fibre Optic Cabling is typically used for cabling between telecommunications rooms, equipment rooms, linking different buildings and for incoming services.
